The unique take away’s for me is the new “multitouch’ interface that replaces that need for a stylus. And the fact that the iPhone runs a full-fledged version of Mac OS X. Now I’m not really a Mac guy, but Apple is definitely proving they can innovate.

This is an interesting move and further commoditize the long distance market. But the real questions is whether this is sustainable. I.e. How will Skype pay the bill for these PSTN calls? And move importantly how will they pay the taxes and fees…
